Controlling M Hub Clock from Midi clock foot tap

Greetings all;
Being a midi guitar player, I want to control tempo from the foot tap /midi clock of Line 6 HX effects. How do I get the clock pipe to respond to incoming Mini clock info from my foot tap? I can see from MIDI Monitor, that the clock is coming in, but the clock pipe does not respond to it.
Thanks!

You should use a single source for clocking your setup. If your Line 6 HX provides master clock, and has tap tempo option, use Midihub to forward the clock to the rest of your devices.

If you want to use Midihub as the master clock, map the Tap Tempo property of the Clock pipe to an external control, and use that to change the tempo.

Thank you for your response.
yes, I am using the line 6 as the master clock.

I want to use the midi hub clock to forward the master clock to my devices.
I can’t seem to get it to do that.

how do I get the m hub clock to receive in coming clock?

thanks.
PS
(There are instructions that say you can put it in the middle of a pipeline. I have only been able to place it at the beginning of a pipeline. I don’t know if this is relevant to my problem or not. )

The Clock pipe is for producing clock. For forwarding Clock messages, you have to use the FROM MIDI X pipe to receive the incoming messages from Line 6, and then route it out to the output ports. The most basic way, that forwards everything from Line 6 (connected to MIDI IN A on Midihub) to all MIDI outputs is shown below. Place Filters if necessary.

[FROM MIDI A] → [TO MIDI A]
[FROM MIDI A] → [TO MIDI B]
[FROM MIDI A] → [TO MIDI C]
[FROM MIDI A] → [TO MIDI D]
