I would like to connect the NATIVE INSTRUMENT MASCHINE PLUS in USB with the BLOKAS and then configure the mapping from the maschine (standalone) directly.
I do not know if it is possible .
Maybe configure the Blokas on my mac and then unplug it when it is configure like I want but I am asking if my UMAC is not to old to can run BLOKAS EDITOR PROGRAM.
Alot of thanks in advance for the answers and tips.
You donât need a Midihub to start looking at/creating presets
but you wonât be able to connect to device like Maschine until youâve got the grey box
Editor works on OS X 10.11+ (My old mac runs 10.12.6 and Editor works great)
Next, if you want Maschine to talk to MH via USB youâll probably want MIDI PatchbayâŚ
âŚbut you may decide you donât need this as you can connect Maschine directly to MH via MIDI DINâŚ
âŚwhich is, after all, how youâre going to use it stand-alone.
(Some users who need to use USB-only devices set themselves up on MAc/PC but use a rPi as a USB host in âperformanceâ)
If Maschine had itâs own editor (I donât know it) youâll still be able to modify it via USB and see the differences coming into MH
Looks like your needs will be met with a few filters and maybe some Channel Remaps.
If you give the Editor a go, upload your patch here and someone will tell you whether it works or not
Ok perfect , thanks foe your answer really complete !!
I download the program and start to try to program pipeline .
But One thing I do not understand ⌠sorry for my non knowledge ;-))âŚ
I want my maschine master send clock soâŚ
-MASCHINE DYN OUT connect to MH INPUT A
TO
MMH OUTPUT B connect to my DYN IN of the bassstation .
And same for my two other synths ( just change the MH midi OUTPUT for example C and D âŚ)
That is it ?
I am not sur to zxplain correctly⌠;-))
Very pleased for you; Iâm sure youâll find lots of creative uses once you start playing around.
The setup we talked about will need 4 MIDI cables (1 in â 3 out)
It may be that one of your âslaveâ machines has the capability to send MIDI back to MH, but thatâs for laterâŚ
