I have the Pisound plexiglass case and have a lot problems with it. It doesn’t match the micro USB ports on the side. It doesn’t allow access to the SD Card, and the thickness causes the USB-C power to frequently fall out.
Are there alternatives? Perhaps something I can 3d print?
Okay so you do have a mismatch. I think your case is for the older pis that had a full size HDMI connection whereas your pi has the dual mini connecotrs
Hi @thudson, did you purchase this case directly from us? The side panel you used is for Pi 2 / 3. (The cases we sell right now come with 2 panels for that side - one for use with Pi 2 / 3, and the other for 4 / 5).
What is the version of your Pisound? (it’s written in a corner on the bottom side of the Pisound)
Ok, your case was designed for Pi 2 / 3 as Pi 4 was released in 2019, that explains the misalignment of ports.
Unfortunately the latest version of Pisound Case is incompatible with v1.0 or v1.1 Pisound versions, and we don’t have any remaining stock of the old compatible version…
There’s these 3D printer files available for v1.0 or v1.1 Pisound, but they’re also for Pi 2 / 3, so it should be modified for Pi 4 / 5 ports:
I can see there’s some other projects available here:
