Will the case sold on the site fit a PiSound + Raspberry Pi 4?
And, most importantly, since I know the RPi4 can get quite hot, will it be enough to keep it cool or would it need a fan?

@Tarrasque Yes, the case comes with two side panels to fit both Raspberry 2/3 and 4 models. In our experience fan isn’t necessary.
I want to update my Pisound with a Rasp Pi 4
would it be possible to just get a side panel for the 4?
We can arrange that! Reach out to us via hello@blokas.io with all the order info - full name, billing and shipping addresses, phone no, and shipping type (standard vs. UPS), and we will send you an order link.
Thanks! Just send you an email with all the info
hmm, so do I need to install a fan, if I want to switch from raspi 3 to 4?
is there anything that fits into the case? seems like fan shim is too big
In case anyone is still interested, I’ve just designed a 3D printable enclosure for RPi4 + Pisound. Probably not the best case you’ve ever seen, but it does the job. I’ll probably try to address some critical issue it in the next days, but it’s a starting point.
If you’re brave enough to print one, please let me know how it worked.
Thanks!
Before I re-invent the wheel, does anybody know of an updated version of this for the RPi5 + PiSound + GPIO header extension?
Another member of the forum came up with a 3d printed case.
Thanks! The slide-in, open-side design is interesting.
