I’m using a patch from patch storage to connect Keystep Pro to Volca Sample 2 but not getting any sound. VS2 is set to Midi Ch. 16. There is a signal going to MidiHub but not hearing any samples.

Just had a look at the patch(es) I think you mean.
What they both do (@Giedrius’s Transform approach allows fewer lines and pipes) is

take a note in range [60,69] on Ch10

and output a note in range [48,57] on Channels 1-10 respectively
So No message is sent out to Ch16.
I don’t have the Volca Sample, but I know the Volca Drum has two modes: a default Multi Channel Mode and a Single Channel Mode, so perhaps VS is similar.
If you still have an issue please post a shot of the relevant bit of the manual.
PS. there may well be a more compact solution using new capabilities of Firmware 1.15
