would there happen to be a template i can download already set up for a hardware sequencer ( digitakt) sending midi data from it’s midi out to 4 synths using each of the outputs?
I’m asking because i can’t really get my head around how to do this.

Hey, you can do it like this:
One_In_Four_Out.mhp (423 Bytes)
It sends Ch. 1 to MIDI A output, Ch.2 to MIDI B output, etc… If you want this to keep all data as is, simply remove the Range Filter pipes.
For more presets, see https://patchstorage.com/platform/midihub/. Most of the time you usually have to adjust them to match the channels and ports you use in your studio.

Think about what messages you might want to Filter from certain synths
Work through some tutorials: the ones on Monitoring and thinking through Building a Preset
Monitoring helps fine-tune your preset so that each device is only getting the messages you want.
