Patchbox and Pure data patch not visible on screen

Hi Giedrius,

I’m back with an additional issue.

Every think is working well with Patchbox, I’m able to launch Pure data with one click of the button and close it with two etc. Audio is OK and my MIDI controller is running correctly; I’m having fun with my Pure data patches :slight_smile:

I can connect to raspberry and pisound using VNC but I have the only issue that when I launch pure data pressing the button I don’t see the patch on screen of my computer, I’m able to act on the patch with my MIDI controller but I don’t see anything.

Can you be so kind to support me with the fix.

Hi, open a terminal before you launch the patch.

Yes, this will help - detecting which virtual display number to use when launching Pure Data to use is not trivial, so having a terminal up while connected via VNC helps :slight_smile:

Hi Giedrius,

Opening a terminal video help to open Pure data on my PC when pressing the button on Pi Sound. Great. Issue solved.
