I am trying to route the signal out of my Jamstik MIDI guitar in a certain way but having trouble. The Jamstik can send MIDI as multichannel (1 per string anywhere from 1-16) single channel (1-16), or MPE. The device at my destination only accepts channel 16 input. What I would like to do is lower the octave of one of the channels, and have the rest stay the same, all sending to channel 16. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated
If this is a specific fixed channel, say Channel 7, then use two “parallel” pipelines each with a Channel Filter:
(I’ve merged the flows in pipeline 3 for the Channel Remap assuming you might want to do some other common processing. Yours may be simpler)
PS. Devices like this are sometimes about sending different Pitchbend messages on different channels. Any sent will also be merged to Ch16
