Too much questions in the startup

First time booting the Patchbox OS.

First the screen settings is way out of control so I can not see how to type login and password.

Then comes a ton of questions, questions about updates, Jack settings, connections and many different numbers and alternatives I have no idea what to choose?

Why does it has to be this complicated in the startup? I just want to come into the OS. Why this cryptic and secret?

Why do I need to install the sound cards and make settings and stuff right at the beginning? Why Can’t I just boot up the OS and do this stuff later? Gives me total headache with this.

Please can anyone give me a clean guide on how even to come into the main desktop at the beginning? Have been sitting with this for an hour now.

Very disappointed with this OS so far

Are you serious?

This is an os designed for capturing and processing audio. Yes, you will need a sound card to do that. Yes, they must be configured. Blokas designed the startup to let you easily configure the os and be on your way creating music without having to mess with a command line or the desktop.

If you want an os that doesn’t do the above you should install raspbian.
