Hi, I just purchased Midihub from a 3rd party supplier (Signal Sounds) and it has no power switch. you just plug it into USB and it boots up. Is this a new model and you decided to dispense with the power switch or is it an older one?
Yes, this is the newer model - we’ve removed the power switch in the updated design. Over the years, we noticed that the switch was a relatively common point of failure in the units we serviced. To improve long-term reliability, we decided to simplify the design by removing it altogether. The device still powers and functions exactly the same, just with fewer moving parts that could wear out over time.
