Yes, that’d be indeed useful, and it was suggested by others as well:

A handy feature to add (unless I’m missing it elsewhere) is a MIDI data inspector so I can view the traffic flow through pipes for debugging purposes. It’s possible to see the ultimate data output by MIDIhub using a MIDI inspector, but not internally while debugging. Thanks!

Midi monitor console for editor

I think it would be very useful if editor could provide a midi data monitor console. I am not sure how this could be implemented but it can be a great tool in order to have a visual representation of all possible midi i/o plus virtual i/o, selectable by the user.

We’re thinking about it. It’s a bit risky not to overflow with additional monitoring work the vital Midihub’s functions of the actual MIDI processing and routing, but it should be possible to do.
