Mapping/accessing midi usb from my computer?

Is it possible to direct midi coming to USB on my computer to the midi hub? The roli seaboard needs to go through it’s dashboard first. I’ve tried the various usb source options and then trying the Map function, and it’s not seeing anything.

EDIT - I use midipipe on my mac, and send my usb keyboard out to the midihub, it works. Is this the only way to do it? Is there a way without midipipe or similar?

Mac OS users usually prefer MIDI Pipe program for this, usually a DAW can also redirect USB MIDI traffic between devices, how to do that depends on what DAW you use. Other OSes have programs like MIDI-OX on Windows or aconnect on Linux.

Thx! I want this to happen outside of a daw, like before it, so I think Midipipe will suffice.
