Is a reamp box needed or better to connect to a guitar amp?

Hi,
I will use my pisound to connect to make a multieffect using guitarix and physical buttons, knobs, etc. The documentation says that one can connect the output directly to a guitar amp, but the output level seems quite high. Would it be better (or is it even needed) to use a reamp box like the Walrus Canvas in between?
Best,

The output of Pisound is at the ‘line’ level, which is usual for outputs of synthesizers, drum machines, laptops, players, etc…, which should then be connected to a mixer or speakers directly, if they have built-in amplifiers, or a dedicated amplifier, if using passive speakers.

You may need something in between a Guitar and Pisound, but usually, Pisound is able to amplify a guitar when connected directly as needed, so you may give a direct connection a try first, to see if you’re happy with the loudness as is.
