Having to re map CC after "append from file"

Hello. When I “append from file” a chunk of pipes into my preset, the CC mappings are there but they don’t respond to the MIDI CC trigger,

until I remap them with the exact same (MIDI CC) trigger, then it’s fine.

The MIDI Channel is the same, Input port is correct. The Monitor shows the data coming in. Triggering with a Morningstar M6

Is there a workaround or something I am missing? Does it have to do with port renaming, which I did? Thanks.

I tried a quick demo (to try to reproduce issue to inform @Giedrius):

  • just a preset with a Toggle map and 3 Scale maps
  • saved then appended to one of the stored presets

mine worked fine including when port names different in destination presett

Please upload your .mhp files to try to replicate

Thanks for trying it out.

I just figured out the problem while preparing it for you.

The trigger is coming in from a new port., although I did update Input Port in settings.

Now I can either update the ports, or switch B and D around.
