Does Patchbox OS support Bookworm’s gadget mode?
It should be supported, as it’s all in the kernel and possibly the Raspberry Pi’s firmware, which you can update to the latest versions on Patchbox OS. I haven’t tried this functionality myself.

Were you able to activate USB gadget mode? I enabled it some time ago (ethernet [NCM]/audio/MIDI). Everything works perfectly from a computer running Windows, Linux, or macOS, but I can’t access the Pi via usb-ethernet or use the audio and MIDI functions from an iOS or iPadOS device. For comparison, the MOD Dwarf in gadget mode is recognized by my iPhone and iPad. Has anyone managed to find a configuration that works with iOS/iPadOS?
I was not able to get that to work. I would up solving my problem another way.
You could give a try to this script that does a pretty good job. If I remember correctly you will still have to add audio and midi functions after that, which isn’t a big deal once the global setup is done. GitHub rpi-usb-gadget
