Any reason not to update PureData from the trixie-backports repo?

I note that the PiSound installer installs PD 0.55.2, which is what is in the trixie repo. The trixie-backports repo has PD 0.56.5. (The latest version, 0.57, is only in the unstable repo.) Is there any reason why I should not install the version in from trixie-backports? Is it likely to break any blokas-specific PD patches or software?

Note that I saw another user’s post about building a recent version from scratch, and how he needed to enable jack to get it working. I would assume that PD 0.56.5 in the backports repo already has this enabled. Installing from the backports repo would be much simpler than building from scratch. So I’m just trying to find out if there’s any reason not to use the backports version.
