16 in x 16 out plus USB!

I’m not using my Midihub every day but every time I pick it up it solves a problem!
Just today I realized I can convert a note messages to start/stop messages that it just seems impossible to send at specific beats from Reaper!
So why aren’t I using it everyday?
Because it’s not always connected to all my gear and not at the heart of my setup!
I am running most of my MIDI gear from an iConnectivity mio10.
Everything is connected to it and if I need to re-route something I just open the software for that and it’s done.
But I like the workflow and possibilities in the Midihub so, so much more and I would replace the mio10 in a heartbeat if there was only a Midihub version with greater connectivity.
I’m lazy and confused most of the time, which means I always look for minimal hassle, and that means I prefer to have all my synths on individual MIDI lines. No keeping track of channels, no double triggering, not sending double clock or clock where it doesn’t belong, just one line to one thing, filtered for what that device needs to do.
This does however mean that I need lots of MIDI channels.
I would love to have a 16 in and 16 out DIN MIDI version of the midihub.
It could be 4x4 DIN MIDI and 12x12 3.5mm MIDI, I could live with that but the DIN connector is so much more robust so I prefer it, maybe a 6.3mm connector could be a thing?.. But then it’s completely non-standard so probably not a realistic option.
It would also be fantastic to have both a computer USB connection and either a built in USB hub with 6 or more connections or a dedicated USB that could be connected to a USB hub.
I really like the USB split function on the mio10 where you can connect MIDI devices just as you would with DIN MIDI to one USB and then have a dedicated USB for the computer connection.
So you can have everything communicating without the computer on and when you turn on the computer you can start programming things and everything is always connected.
All USB should be USB-C of course! We live in the future after all when some things can finally be standardized?..

USB host I really mis.

But more midi ports… Does not make much sense to me regarding price, mcu load.
Perhaps buy a second unit?

Why wouldn’t more ports make sense?
This would be a seperate product, so you could still buy the current version if you do not need additional ports.
