Jackd won't start

Hello everybody!
I just recieved my pisound and i’m really happy, but I can’t start jackd via qjackctl.
I’m running the pi with the ubuntu mate image.
the system ist correctly set up with pisound as main sound card. If I put the default soundcard back, jacks starts correctly.
what i’m doing wrong?
here is the error message of jack:

Hi, try using 48000 (or one of 96000, 192000) sampling rate instead of 44100.

it works now, thanks!
(but I changed to raspbian)
