CC into NRPN oxi e16 controlling Digitone

I’m thinking of getting a blokas.

Id like to be able to control a Digitone 2 to toggle Euclidean on/off from an Oxi e16.

Its push button feature only sends cc’s and Digitone doesn’t have any cc’s for Euclidean, only NRPN.

Is that something blokas can do?

As a company named Blokas, it would be unrealistic for us to physically be there to control the Euclidean toggle  But Midihub sure can help, there’s this preset that converts CCs to CC NRPN:

We plan to release a dedicated CC (N)RPN pipe in a future software update which will make this trivial.

Thanks for the quick response. And for having a good sense of humour :joy:

Would it be possible to use 1 knob instead of 2 if that 1 knob also works as a push button and can be set to toggle. So basically 1 push would send one nrpn and a second push would send the other nrpn

Yes, it can be tailored to your needs. If it’s just a toggle push button, you probably don’t need 14bit precise value, it’s probably using only the CC NRPN’s MSB value, so you can easily use one control for that, in that case the preset can be somewhat simplified into one line.

Awesome! Now I just have to find a Canadian retailer :face_with_monocle:

Doesn’t support the E16 Nrpn directly?

The knobs rotating do but they also depress and that only supports NRPN

My midihub has arrived!

Can’t seem to get it to simply pass midi thru it for transport and clock control.

A input lights up and flashes but the output doesn’t. I’ve got an oxi e16 going out to the midihub then into my Digitone.

Safe to assume that’s how it should be set up?

Ive used the preset you sent me. Switched the ports from usb to midi. Clicking on FROM A the midi monitor shows it’s recieving and sending clock but nothing is coming out of the output. :man_shrugging:t3:

So I can bypass the first filter then I get the output sending midi clock and transport messages. :+1:
