Yes, that fixed it for me back when I wrote the post… but, just now, I tried and commented it out again, then rebooted, to confirm the issue is still there, and surprise, Pisound is visible and working. No idea what happened at that occasion, but all is fine now. I apologize for the noise!

Please upgrade your Pisound’s firmware to 1.03:

Currently the scripts are not ready to be used on Pi 5 directly, best to run it on Pi 4 and using bullseye or buster Raspberry Pi OS.
