Hello everyone,
I recently started using my ordered Pisound micro and initially just connected the headphone jack to the designated pins. The result: It works, but with extremely loud background noise! As soon as I disconnect the ground jack, the noise completely disappears, but then stereo no longer works. I listened to the whole thing with a test WAV file connected to the jack in Audacity. Does anyone have any ideas?
Best regards
B.T
Alright find the solution myself loud background noise is gone now had to mute some channels

Yeah, it’s a good idea to look through the ALSA mixer options and mute and turn down the volume of things that are not in use. Also, if you have Input connectors, it’s a good idea to use audio jacks that can be connected to AGND automatically in their ‘normally closed’ position (when nothing is inserted into the connector), so it’s not catching any noise on the input.
