Hi there, I just have bought an Arturia KeyLab 61 and the only thing I really like is the very musical arpeggiator in this case:
Description:
- Hold-function
- When chords are set, it plays the cords, easy.
- But, when a new chord or note is set, it does not add these to the former but clears and takes the new note or cord.
- this leaves to me in live-situation some very musical freedom
Question:
How can I rebuild this in the Midihub-MIDI-Editor?
Thanks in advance!
a lot depends on the detail of
- Hold-function
- When chords are set, it plays the cords, easy.
This lw_chordArp.mhp is a very rough starting point with many shortcomings
(velocity springs to mind!)
but it’ll hopefully show what else needs to be built in to make it closer to your beloved
KeyLab…

Thanks a lot for your helpful reply. Will have a look at it in short! Probably a good ground to give my Keylab back
Not quite yet but you should consider a career in Arturia’s marketing department…

Give the Chrod mode of Sustain pipe a try too, it will switch to a new chord after all the keys were let go and a new one is being played without having to retrigger the Pedal On.

I’ll do – great adding – thanks a lot!
@lloyd-weena, forget my early version (I misunderstood Chord in Sustain); as @Giedrius (so politely!) hints, you don’t need anything so complicated
lw_chordArpSimpler!
