I’m pretty much a newbie to this, but I’m working on a fairly ambitious project.
To use the stereo inputs and outputs, I would need four mono TRS jacks and one stereo TRS jack for the headphones. Would I need any capacitors for AC coupling? I don’t fully understand how it works, I’ve just read that such capacitors are needed, is that correct?
Also is there anything I need to keep in mind for midi?

The external capacitors are recommended to be placed on HPL and HPR lines, there’s two options - using the HPL and HPR as an output for headphones or for line output. The difference is in the impedance value, it has an impact on what capacitor value you should select, all of that is documented under “Headphone Output Configurations” section.
For MIDI, all that remains is connecting your choice of MIDI ports. The activity LEDs are optional, you can select any Pisound Micro’s GPIO pins for them.
