Using Transform: some hints and recipes

This topic follows on from the “Everything you wanted to know about Transform” tutorial

“Everything you wanted to know…” is my attempt to demystify Midihub’s most powerful tool; explaining it’s purpose and sections with words and graphics for a (hopefully!) wide range of users.

This topic will attempt to go through the process of analysing

  • when Transform might be the right tool for the job and

  • how to go about setting Transform up to get the results you need

Often these solutions will involve other pipes, sometimes with Transforms acting as go-betweens or translators.

I see the first tutorial as reference, and this more as an evolving resource.

At present this is just place-holding ‘stub’ of a tutorial;
the next entry will list the possible contents.

Here is a guess-list of contents

  1. Intro

  2. Contents (this list)

  3. When Transform might be useful (please add your own)

  4. Using Transform: analysing the situation

  5. Examples & case studies
