@Alex so you connected both the Pi and your computer to the same wifi network but were not able to browse to the MODEP interface with http://patchbox.local or by getting the IP address of your PI? Remember that if you want to connect your PI to your wifi you will need to disable the hotspot.

@Zetoni sorry about the delay in getting back to you on the Harmonizer. You are correct, there are 3 harmonizer plugins in Patchstorage but they are all missing the 32 bit install for RPi. I will investigate in the coming days.

Just for information : i stoped trying ALO Looper plugin.

I have found a solution to sync SOOPER LOOPER with my external devices : i use my electribe 2 to send ā€œnote onā€ with 127 or 1 velocity. And with the utility NOTE TO CC i can start and stop recording the first loop with the perfect size. Then i can work easy, just have to trigger ā€œplay/stopā€ button of the looper at the right moment.

Hello all,

i try DIE FLUIDSYNTH today, but i canā€™t select a SF2 file, when i click to the text field a list open but itā€™s empty. When i go to the pluginā€™s parameters the section for soundfont file selection is empty, canā€™t open a file explorer or nothing.

Maybe i have to put the soundfound in a special directory but i didnā€™t find this information. Does anyone know about that ?

It seems that Iā€™m no longer able to get plugins updates. I see that newer versions are available on patchstorage site but the modep plugin manager itā€™s no more capable to spot them. How to investigate deeper?

@redcloud so no plugins are displaying or just not the newer ones? Could you provide a specific example and I will try and reproduce?

Iā€™ve installed this more than 5 months ago (and never updated since then) and I see that it has been updated 2 weeks ago in AIDA-X | Patchstorage

@redcloud I also experienced this tonight. I have actually have 2 RPi4s set up with MODEP, one being a practice rig. I see that the Aida-X plugin was updated 2 weeks ago and I know I havenā€™t downloaded the update yet.

So Iā€™m going to defer this question to 2 people: @Pranciskus what triggers the ability to update a plugin from Patchstorage? Does that happen when the local version doesnā€™t match whatā€™s in Patchstorage? And @deathbeard when you uploaded the update to Aida-X did you happen to change the version number? Also, just to be certain, did you update the build for ARM?

MPB didnā€™t seem to change the plugin version over the last few builds, hence the v1.0 constant. Iā€™ll rebuild and manually change the version number to prevent confusion

@redcloud I just confirmed that the AdiaX plugin shows as having a new version.

Dexed does not implement MIDI Program Change, so patch have to be selected manually. It is a problem when playing live. Sometime when the pedalboard load in MODEP there is no sound from dexed. After a few Reload Pedaboard it works. Not a big issue but is annoying ā€¦ specially when playing live.

Hi @jtemple967, please could you have a go at uploading x42 MIDI Filter Collection. I used this before the online patch library came out and it is very useful. I have tried a local install but canā€™t get it to work ( I must have lost the skills since it is now so easy to use patch storagešŸ˜€). In fact it would be great to have all of the x42 midi utilities up there if possible?

@Jon_Walters I honestly thought all the x42 plugins had been uploaded but I see the x42-midifilter was not uploaded in bulk. Thereā€™s an issue with the lv2 uploader when handling a plugin package that has mutiple plugins. Iā€™ve reached out to Blokas asking for help.

Thank you all for all the effort in making and maintaining this great environment! I ran into this issue before, but `I was still waiting for the Patchbox OS arm64 for my Pi5. Now it has arrived and works great, I am experimenting again with some sample rates. It seems not every plugin is working when I have a higher sample rate setting. Especially the DragonFly reverbs are not working (system stalls). Is this a known issue? Some effects start to sound strange with a higher sample rate. Have not figured it all out (so many plugins :grinning:)
