where do I find the folder with my pedalboards?
@racecube are you looking for the folder where your pedalboards are stored on the Pi?
Exaactly or you can tell me, why I don´t see my pedalboards in the app.
@racecube pedalboards within MODEP on your Pi are stored at /var/modep/pedalboards. In that directory there should be a folder for every pedalboard that you’ve defined.
So when you say “I don’t see my pedalboards in the app” we might need a little more detail to be able to help. Are you saying that when you browse to the raspberry PI/MODEP via a web browser there are no pedalboards listed when you click the “Pedalboards” button:
Or are you saying that there’s no pedalboards listed when you click the “Banks” button:
Or possibly are you trying to use the Pisound Android app, in which case if there are no pedalboards listed you have to add them to a bank and “I think” the bank has to be named “The Button”. @Giedrius is that correct or does it just use the first bank listed?
Thank you very much, I misunderstood Collections
in the Android App - I was thinking of every pedal I´ve installed to live here. Once I made a Bank I can see this Bank in my collections on the Android App.
So I have to design my boards in a browser, than put them into my Bank and -voila- I can control them in the App.
Next step: The button
@racecube awesome, glad that solved it. Itay seem strange at first to not list all the pedalboards in the app but if you’re anything like me I have dozens of pedalboards, many of them exist because I wanted to try a particular plugin but didn’t want to “break” the pedal boards I use consistently for live performance. Being able to put the critical ones in a bank keeps the list de-cluttered for live performance.
one last question: My pedalboards are in var/modep/pedalboards and not in usr/modep pedalboards.
Does this make a difference?
(Following [Plugins] ALO looper plugin build
I installed the ALO looper to usr/modep/pedalboards and did a reinstall to var…now I´ve got it double and can´t delete the unnecessary (?) usr one)
Are you installing plugins via the Patchstorage button in the MODEP interface or manually by copy/pasting a folder?
mostly in the modep interface, but in this case it was manually like described in the link
