Fresh install on Pi 5 - no pedals in MODEP

Hi troops,

Finally got round to installing patchbox os on my new Pi 5 and it seemed to go OK thanks to the really good documentation yous created. So thank you for that, firstly and foremostly…!

On opening a browser and navigating to the pedalboard, no pedals are available. All categories show 0.

I tried following the steps here and in the second post from that thread but no luck. Also no lv2 folder to be found in /use/MODEP/ even after updating the OS and reactivating MODEP via the patchbox wizard.

Anyone got any advice?

Cheers

@willy_dinglefinger as of the latest MODEP release pedals are not included by default. Click the little blue button with a “P” on the bottom of the MODEP page to browse and download plugins on patchstorage.com

Ahhhh OK that’s grand, thanks for the heads up. I don’t recall seeing that noted anywhere when I was setting up the gizmo so apologies if I missed something there.

Also a small tip: Check the below link out. They have a lot more plugins than available on Patchstorage. You can extract the contents to /var/modep/lv2/.
