This is similar to this post, but thinking of pedalboards. There’s more and more pedals with midi support in the guitar world and nothing like the midihub afaik. Most pedals use trs midi and pedal board real state is a thing, a compact trs version with standard 9v dc plug would be a winner. Maybe a bit too niche?

A trs/9v version make more sens to me since it will be a really alternative case of use while being also compatible with the quoted suggestion use case.
