Did a reflash using your method and that worked for the modules, but the hotspot is still not working.
Says it is “active (exited)” although I just turned it o n and it’s not showing in the lists of available networks on my Mac or ipad. …An older install on another pisound does show up as Patchbox as expected. I tried a few different channels but nothing seems to work.
Could you post the full output of:
sudo systemctl status hostapd
sudo systemctl status dnsmasq
Ok, there was an issue in pisound-btn scripts, please run sudo pisound-config and do Update Pisound

I only have an RPi 4 with 2GB RAM (still on the road to me). Can I still use this image?
It might work. There was also some bootloader / RPi firmware changes in some revision of Raspberry Pi that seems to make it unable to boot from OS images built before some date. It doesn’t take much to give it at try though.
