Voltage available via midi din breakouts?

Hi - let me start by saying - what an awesome product! you truly identified a gap in the current tech and created a whole ecosystem to present extraordinarily flexible options.

a lot of us have hybrid studio setups involving modular and i was curious if control voltage and 5 v clock signals could be integrated into the inputs or outputs via new pipes.

Theoretically the midi din could carry 1-2 channels of CV between 0 and 5 volts.

would the hardware allow us to utilize the cables with breakout for this - i’m curious about sending and receiving.

Hey, Midihub makes use of DIN-5 pins 2, 4 and 5. 1 and 3 are not connected. Only digital input and output is possible with Midihub hardware.

Personally, I’d go with some external MIDI to CV converter, as it would be easily capable of using multiple CV outputs for use with many CCs and other MIDI messages.
