Startup time for getting to Pd patch

Hi!
I’m just wondering what type of startup times people are experiencing with Patchbox in terms of turning on the Raspi and eventually getting an autostart Pd patch running. I’m finding it can take about 60 seconds on a Raspberry Pi 3 A+.

If anyone is getting significantly faster than that, how are you doing it? Would it be much faster on a Raspi 4? Or any other tips/tricks?

hi, with raspi 4 i am getting sound output after 30 sec

If you’d build a dedicated system for PD like Pianoberry – Pianoteq 8 @ 1.33 ms latency on Raspberry Pi 5, it’s likely possible to reduce the boot up time further.
