On a related note: How does one add an LV2 simulator to Modep? Is there a tool?

Just place the plugins you build or acquire into /usr/modep/lv2/ and restart the services:

sudo systemctl stop modep-mod-ui modep-mod-host jack
sudo systemctl start jack modep-mod-host modep-mod-ui
