Does anyone know whether multiple RNBO patches be dynamically loaded from the pi using the Pisound button, or is RNBO export a one-shot thing in which the code is replaced at the target each time? I thought I’d try here in case anyone has attempted this, although I’m aware it’s probably more of a C74/RNBO question (and I did ask there but received no reply).

you would need to to write a script that loads A RNBO patcher by OSC and execute it on a button press.
