Rack-mountable MIDI Hub?

Is it just me, or it’d be amazing if there was a rack-mountable version of the MIDI Hub? It wouldn’t need being a different device, it could be just a “container” you put the old MIDI Hub in, exposing the same 8 DIN ports but in a 19” rack format.

… and perhaps what you’re saying next is: just use a MIDI patch bay… but do they even exist at a reasonable price?
