the endgame with pisound for me is still to have it as a solid standalone instrument/unit, currently i’m still shutting it down by hand every time i use it, which isn’t too convenient and not really suitable for a recording- or live-situation where you don’t have access to any network or no computer to connect with it. Now an idea could be to have a small additional power supply, and when power is cut, and the rpi has to run from the battery it would automatically initiate the shutdown sequence.
Have any of you any experience with additional power supplies? Is it feasible with the Pisound hat already on it? Or are there other solutions to keep system integrity from corrupting through abrupt power cuts?

p.s.: maybe this could also help with the sound distortion that sometimes happens with unstable psus?
