I finally had some time to fire up the Pisound and decided to try it on Ubuntu Mate since it was what was in the Pi already. The kernel update for Raspian worked fine in Mate. With the right power supply it started up great and the Pisound shows up everywhere as I/O.
I’m a PD nut so this interface is a big deal for me to get working on the PI. All good to go! (The audio I/O error shown in PD isn’t real and shows up intermittently on all my OS/machines). Hooray!
Time to start patching. First up is something like a guitar effects processor in PD.
