Finally, I managed to resolve the issue somehow. MODEP is asking for the pisound in order to load. I borrowed one from a friend and so far it runs remarkably smoothly. So, is there a way to make it work with other soundcards except pisound? How can I configure the hardware, the sample rate or the buffer size?

Does anybody know of an updated case for the RPi5 + PiSound + GPIO header extension? Either CAD/STL files to 3D print, or pre-cut acrylic like the original PiSound Case?
