Pisound button not working anymore

While exploring all kinds of settings for Modep and Pisound I think I screwed up something. The Pisound Button is no longer working. It was working right after setting up (using a Pi5). Now the Pisound-button service is unable to start:

sudo pisound-btn
17 line request for edge events failed!
Failed opening pin input! (16)

Any suggestions?

What is the output of these commands:

  • systemctl status pisound-btn
  • pisound-btn --version
  • cat /sys/kernel/debug/gpio

?

Hi Giedrius,

Thank you for your effort. Because I started to have more issues with the Pi5 and the Pisound, I decided to do a clean install. It looks like it is working now (leds are flashing again when I push the button). I will post a new message here if the same issue reoccurs.

Well, I fresh install resolved everything for me in this case. Pisound-btn is working like a charm again. Also midi-issues are resolved and I am able to set different sample rates in jackdrc.
