Patchbox without Pi Sound

Hi troops,

Hope you’re all well. Came across this site earlier this morning while researching a way to use Guitarix (or similar) for live guitar. I love what this is all about

Given that there are no Pi Sounds in stock, do you know how feasible it is to just get a raspberry pi (5…?) → install patchbox os → use my USB interface (Focusrite, class compliant) plus maybe a USB or MIDI foot controller to switch patches etc?

I’m a Linux user and fairly well-versed already with Linux audio etc but have very little experience with the pi and ARM stuff in general. Is it easy to manage and configure MODEP / patchbox os using a Linux laptop for example? As opposed to hooking up a keyboard and monitor etc.

Thanks again in advance

Hey, yes, everything is detailed in these two pages:

Personally, I use only ssh and VNC to control the Raspberry Pi, only the most extreme circumstances require for a monitor and keyboard.

Btw, we expect to have new stock of Pisound available later this month.

Amazing, thank you Giedrius. The documentation is fantastic by the way.

As soon as I’ve got my hands on a Pi, I look forward to getting started…!

Thanks again
