I2s mic with Pure Data

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if I’d be able to use this i2s mic with pure data on a pizero.

I see patchbox supports i2s but i’m not sure if pure data does?

Anyone know?

Pure Data or any other audio application do not work with I²S directly - there’s always some OS driver that exposes the audio stream abstractly via ALSA or another audio backend that such applications use.

If you’re using some USB audio card for output, it could be tricky (but not impossible), to make them work together.

Thanks. It looks like there is some code which makes the mic show up as an alsa recording device so hopefully it should be relatively simple.
