Hello, I use modep from a Pisound card and I would like to load pedalboards from MOD’s Pedalboard Feed. Given a pedalboard, when I click on “try it” I have the following error message :
Installation failed! Please make sure your MOD device is connected so you can access the UI from this same browser.
How could I load a pedalboard from Pedalboard Feed or somewhere else?
@crocefisso MODEP doesn’t currently support downloading pedalboards from MOD’s pedalboard feed. That would be, in my opinion, a great feature to have so we can share our pedalboards easily. MODEP uses Patchstorage so with a bit of code work it would be possible to download shared pedalboards on that platform.
@jtorres thank you. Indeed not being able to share pedalboards is unfortunate
I hope that MODEP dev team is already working on implementing such a feature.
Yeah, downloading from the Pedalboard feed requires that it be able to find an attached MOD Device. There is some hand-shaking to verify that it’s a real device.
If you have a MOD Device, you can download the pedalboard from the feed, then tarball it up and copy it (eg scp) to your MODEP drive.
