I like to practice with my PiSound and MODEP at home but I just use headphones instead of going through an amp. The output of the PiSound is line level so driving a set of headphones is a challenge. I would have to turn the input and volume up really high to get a decent practice volume. So I decided to get a small headphone amplifier from Amazon and I am so glad I did! This unit was relatively cheap, is rechargable and fairly small. There’s a low/high gain switch on the bottom which gives you some flexibility. Sound quality is good and it comes with a charging cable and 2 1/8" stereo cables as well.
