Good guitar sound with PiSound

I got a Pisound with the intention with the intention of using Modep with guitar. I was disappointed with the tone I was getting with my telecaster plugged directly into the Pisound. Actually it wasn’t surprising becasue the Pisound has a line-in, not suitable for guitar signals.

I solved this by adding a Boss AD-2 in between.

With the pedal bypassed you get line-out that you can plug into the Pisound. It can be engaged to add a (very nice) reverb. Turning up the resonance knob gets you into useable acoustic simulation territory.

With this setup I feel I can use guitar through Pisound in recordings or live.
