I would love to see a few more colors introduced in the editor, I think that would help “read” pipes more easilty. Made a quick mock up, with the following colors:
Magenta: MIDI Channels
Teal: MIDI CC
Green: Notes
Orange: Velocities
Blue: Clock
White: modifies multiple things
P.S. please get a designer to pick a nice palette for the app. the colors I used are just to illustrate the point.
