I get an error message reading: Connecting to Midihub failed! Error: 0 Editor version is 1.11.3, Midihub firmware version is 1.11.4.

This should be fixed in [Download] Midihub Editor 1.11.4 & Firmware 1.11.6 .

I updated the firmware (from a different computer), but I’m still having the same problem.

Windows? Macosx? some more info, so the dev’s can better help… Is the USB cable OK?, maybe a USB hub is in between?

No USB hub, and my USB cable is fine. I’m trying to use OS X 10.11.3. I imagine that’s the issue, as it works fine on a more up-to-date system, but I’d rather not update my main studio machine if I can avoid it.

We can only test the macOS version down to 10.11.6 ourselves, but even then some per-device differences can appear causing unexpected issues. I’ll send you a PM requesting some logs to be produced that should help us understand better what’s going on. Did it ever used to work before on that system…

Responded to your PM. This was my first time trying to use the Midihub with this computer. My other one is on 10.14.x and has worked flawlessly.

Hey, 1.11.3 editor expects 1.11.5 firmware version to be running on the device. Hold the button down while powering on to enter the bootloader mode and flash the firmware from here: [Download] Midihub Editor 1.11.3 & Firmware 1.11.5
