Late bloomer in music production: have been interested in synths since the '70s, took a couple of classes in the '80, read a ton in the '90s, began acquiring a few choice items in the '00s, but was always hampered by limited time, money, space, talent, and computing power. Only in the last year or two have I finally begun assembling a cramped music setup, and have been on a somewhat steep learning curve with several key elements, hardware and software, both individually and as a system, but I’m slowly getting some traction, and have made my first couple of (admittedly crappy) recordings in Studio One.
