PiSound as remote controlled music center

Hello folks,

I am a newbie to pisound. I run it using as Raspberry 4B. Setup ran smooth, system seems to work.

I intend to use it as a playback center for both audio files (using the 6,3mm Out-Jack) and MIDI-Files, controlled via WLAN.

Is there already such a project available? If not, I am severly interested (although I would have, in terms of technical competence, little to contribute) …

Hey, not sure about a project like this that could play MIDI files, but for audio, there’s a couple of options available, with Volumio probably being the easiest one. If you use Spotify, you may set up Raspotify, see here: Raspotify output on pisound to play along
